How Percentile Is Calculated
Percentile = (Number of candidates with marks ≤ your marks ÷ Total number of candidates) × 100.
Example: If 20,000 candidates appeared for the exam and 18,000 of them scored less than or equal to you, your percentile would be:
(18,000 ÷ 20,000) × 100 = 90 percentile
